Definition
a strategy used for the mensural construction that is morphosyntactically similar to the (sortal) classifier strategy used in the language. Example: in Cantonese léuhng wún faahn 'two bowls of rice', wún 'bowl' is a mensural classifier that recruits the same construction as is used for sortal classifiers in the language. (Section 5.2.2)
