Definition
a strategy used in the stative complex predicate construction in which the manner or other stative component is packaged as the sole predication, and the event is packaged as the subject - argument of the manner predication. Example: in Mokilese ah kijou dahr 'He runs fast' [lit. 'his running is fast'], the speed is predicated of the event. (Section 14.2)
