Definition
a strategy for the anaphoric-head construction in which there is an overt morpheme that functions as the head. Example: in I took a red candy and Greg took a green one, a green one is an example of the overtly headed strategy for the anaphoric-head construction, because one serves as an anaphoric head (with respect to type identity) in the construction.
