Definition
a strategy used in the stative complex predicate construction in which the manner (more generally, stative) component is packaged as a separate primary predication - coordinated with the event predication using a balanced - complex sentence - strategy. However, the stative predicate does not index (any of) its argument(s). Example: in Koasati wayóhka-k ho-palkálki-palámni-n 'They fly all very fast' [lit. 'They fly (and) it is fast'], the second clause ho-palkálki-palámni-n recruits the form of a main clause predicate, but does not index the fliers. (Section 14.2)
