Definition

a strategy for encoding the relation in major propositional acts ( modifier– referent, predicate– argument), in which one element is an affix on the other. Example: in Somali səʔli-hom [photograph-his], -hom is typically analyzed as an affix expressing the possessor. (Section 4.2)
