Definition
a sequential relation between two events, as expressed by a complex figure construal of the relation between the two events. Example: in He washed the car and drove to the party, the washing of the car and the driving to the party are in a consecutive relation. Used to describe the temporal relation between two events in a complex figure information packaging. (Section 15.1.3)
