Definition
a strategy for the ditransitive construction in which the T role and R role are co-expressed with the possessive modification construction, so that the noun denoting the participant in the T role is the head and the noun denoting the participant in the R role is the possessive modifier. Example: in Mokilese ngoah insigeh-di kijinlikkoan-oaw nih-mw 'I wrote a letter to/for you', nih-mw [clf-2sg.poss] 'your' is a possessive modifier of kijinlikkoan-oaw 'a letter'. The internal recipient strategy is an instance of the internal possessor strategy. (Section 7.5.3)
