Definition
a derived-case - comparative - strategy which consists of a coordinate clause construction where the two clauses assert that the gradable predicative scale applies to the comparee and the standard. Example: Sika dzarang tica gahar, dzarang rei kesik 'That horse is bigger than this horse' is an instance of the conjoined comparative – it conjoins dzarang tica gahar 'That horse is big' and dzarang rei kesik 'This horse is small'.
