Definition
a set of strategies found in comparative and equative constructions in which the flag of the standard is fixed (unchanging). Example: Mundari sadom-ete hati mananga-i 'The elephant is bigger than the horse' is an instance of the fixed-case strategy: sadom-ete 'horse-from' always occurs with the flag -ete 'from'.
